Parents and caregivers can fully focus on sessions during the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium®, knowing that their children are having an enriching — and fun — time during the meeting.
The 2024 SABCS® child care program at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is for children 6 months to 12 years old. It is led by KiddieCorp, which has nearly 40 years of experience in providing high-quality children’s programs and youth services at conventions, trade shows, and special events. In fact, KiddieCorp partnered with the American Academy of Pediatrics to create first-of-their-kind written guidelines for convention child care. Strict security policies, coupled with rigorous staff training in CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness, provide peace of mind for parents and caregivers. Babies and toddlers have their own separate spaces away from older kids for play and nap time. Kids age 4 through 12 can expect to engage in arts and crafts, play board games, enjoy outside time, and more.
Advance registration is available until November 7, and walk-in registration will be available at the convention center based on space availability. The SABCS® subsidizes the per-child fee by 50%, resulting in a cost to registrants of only $10 per hour per child.
