The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium invites all attendees to the third annual SABCS Celebration from 8-11 p.m. on Thursday, December 10.

The Celebration is a festive evening of live music and refreshments organized by the Mays Cancer Center at UT Health San Antonio in appreciation of the symposium’s dedicated community of breast cancer researchers, clinicians, and patient advocates.

The event, which will take place in the Texas Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt San Antonio Hotel next door to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, provides a chance to network during unopposed time outside of scheduled session and exhibition hours.

As eight-piece band The Grooves plays the hits, attendees will have the chance to mingle at tables or grab friends and colleagues and hit the dance floor. The spacious setting is welcoming to teams and individuals alike, and the informal environment promotes spontaneous connections as well as conversations and collaboration that may extend beyond the event. Light hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary beverage will be provided to each attendee, with additional drinks available for purchase.
