Scientific discussion, networking, and between-session breaks for both the mind and the body await in the Exhibit Hall at this year’s San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium®.
Doors to the Exhibit Hall open at noon on Wednesday, December 11. The convenient location, in Halls 2-3 just off the main lobby on the first floor of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, will offer quick access to the latest industry advancements, attendee amenities, scientific data, and more. A record number of exhibiting companies and organizations will be present in this year’s Exhibit Hall.
Poster abstracts lining most of the left and back walls will be available for viewing during Exhibit Hall hours, Wednesday through Friday, and light refreshments will be served during poster receptions in the early afternoons, as well as Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The patient advocacy organization GRASP will also hold daily Poster Walkthroughs that will bring clinicians and advocates together to exchange ideas about research and clinical care.

The SABCS® booth (Booth 650) will be home to the new SABCS® Networking Hub, where attendees will be able to watch live recordings of SABCS® Snippets – the symposium’s podcast, featuring session insights from SABCS® speakers. Those same renowned breast cancer experts also will be available at the Meet the Experts Corner, where attendees will be able to discuss research and clinical care in a more intimate setting. Additionally, staff will be on hand at the booth to answer any questions about the international Best of SABCS® programs. Don’t miss this opportunity to network and engage with the breast cancer community.
After leaving the SABCS® booth, be sure to visit the Headshot Lounge, supported by AstraZeneca, which will provide sophisticated, professional headshots to all interested SABCS® attendees. The dedicated Product Theater spaces are also nearby, located in the back right corner of the Exhibit Hall. Schedules of these industry presentations will be available on the SABCS Meeting News website and in the SABCS® app leading up to the symposium.
For those in need of some rejuvenation, volunteers from the nonprofit Therapy Dogs of San Antonio will be staffing the Wellness Lounge along the back wall near posters. All Exhibit Hall visitors are welcome to spend some time snuggling a new furry friend. Massage therapy services also are available in the Wellness Lounge.
For a different type of recharge, mobile device power stations are available throughout the Exhibit Hall, along with water stations.
“I’m hopeful that the Patient Advocacy Pavilion, which is a new initiative, will foster even greater collaboration and visibility [for advocacy organizations and researchers alike].”

New Features
In addition to the SABCS® Networking Hub at the SABCS® booth, a new highlight in the Exhibit Hall will be the Patient Advocacy Pavilion, supported by Pfizer. Visitors can find all 30 attending patient advocacy organizations in one convenient location and discover opportunities to network with and support patients who are undergoing breast cancer therapy. Visit the pavilion to learn more about these valuable organizations that are providing essential services and resources for patients and caregivers.
Another new feature in the Exhibit Hall, the SABCS® Culinary Corner, will feature live cooking demonstrations by staff from the Mays Cancer Center Patient Services Department, who will showcase specially curated recipes for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Those recipes, along with a schedule of demonstration times, will be highlighted onsite in the Exhibit Hall. The Culinary Corner is supported by H-E-B, the largest grocery retailer in Texas.
