Some of the biggest topics on the minds of breast cancer researchers, clinicians, and patient advocates will be highlighted in special sessions throughout the 2026 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium®.
The four-day program, December 8-11 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, will once again kick off with three concurrent special sessions on high-interest subjects, but the focus on hot topics won’t end there—four additional special sessions have been added to this year’s program.
Together, these seven special sessions will focus on topics including the role of lifestyle change in care, a global view of breast cancer, artificial intelligence-driven drug development, lobular breast cancer challenges and opportunities, and insights into the drivers of disparities.
Several sessions will also spotlight key discussions in the realm of breast cancer prevention, including emerging vaccines and the impact of modern weight-loss drugs. Although SABCS remains steadfast in its commitment to finding a cure for breast cancer and improving outcomes for patients, prevention has become a much larger focus in recent years with advances in technology and the understanding of the disease.
Details about individual special sessions and sub-presentations can be viewed below, but for the most up-to-date information, as well as the titles and times of numerous other educational sessions and scientific presentations, please visit the Program page at SABCS.org.
Registration for SABCS 2026 is currently open exclusively through SABCS.org, with early registration rates available through September 25.
