William G. Kaelin, Jr., MD, will present the keynote address at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium®. Dr. Kaelin was awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for discovering how cells can sense and adapt to changing oxygen availability, paving the way for strategies to combat cancer and other diseases.

Walid Khaled, PhD, will deliver the second plenary lecture during the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium® about cell atlases as roadmaps in cancer immunology.

Laura J. van ‘t Veer, PhD, will receive the William L. McGuire Memorial Lecture Award in recognition of advancing risk stratification, subtyping, and improving treatment for early breast cancer.

Carol Fabian, MD, will moderate a panel discussion about approaches to risk reduction and the mechanisms of obesity-related risk for breast cancer.
