Register today for SABCS 2025

The world of breast cancer research and care is constantly evolving. Don’t miss practice-changing clinical trial findings, cutting-edge scientific presentations, and the latest conversations on every aspect of the disease at the 48th annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium®.

Registration is underway for the 2025 SABCS®, December 9-12 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. In-person and virtual attendance options are available exclusively through the official SABCS website, and early-bird discounts are in place through September 26.

Last year’s record-breaking gathering included over 11,000 basic and translational scientists, multidisciplinary clinicians, regulatory and pharmaceutical partners, survivors, and patient advocates from more than 100 countries.

Involvement from so many corners of the global breast cancer community makes the symposium truly unique, said Kate Lathrop, MD, SABCS Program Director and an associate professor at the Mays Cancer Center at UT Health San Antonio.

“SABCS is built around the principle of a large tent,” she said. “Anybody researching breast cancer, taking care of patients with breast cancer, or living with breast cancer is invited to the conference, and their voices are represented.”

This year’s program will again reflect the whole continuum of breast cancer — experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, therapy, and long-term care. Presentations will spotlight highly anticipated trial results, late-breaking data, and a record number of other abstracts. Special sessions will explore the impact of alcohol consumption on breast cancer risk, updates on lobular breast cancer, and considerations for younger patients with breast cancer. Workshops will provide in-depth looks at predictive omics, liquid biopsy, and other tools. More than a dozen educational sessions will share timely insights into topics such as CDK4/6 inhibitors, hormone replacement therapy, and artificial intelligence.

The symposium will also offer a series of career development presentations, an expansive Exhibition filled with exciting discoveries, and countless opportunities for networking. The second annual SABCS Celebration will bring together the community for an evening of refreshments, relaxation, and music.

SABCS 2025 offers single and group registration options through its official provider, Convention Management Resources (CMR). All in-person and virtual attendance packages include livestreamed sessions and on-demand recordings, as well as Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits.

Savings of up to 25 percent are available for registrants until September 26. Certain groups may be eligible for extra discounts, including members of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), faculty and staff of UT Health San Antonio, residents and postdoctoral fellows, students, and patient advocates. In addition, virtual-only registration rates scale based on the income ranking of the registrant’s home country.

When registering, don’t forget to enter the SABCS Duck Pluck — a raffle to fund travel scholarships for early-career researchers to attend the 2026 symposium. Each duck purchased also enters you to win one of 10 prizes, including free registration and complimentary hotel accommodations for next year’s SABCS. More details can be found on the official SABCS website.
